UPDATES ON FOOD AND DRINK

Our days in New Zealand go by so very quickly! It seems just yesterday that we arrived in Auckland, that Wim and John ate their first oysters, and here we are: on the South Island with only a few more days left... We are staying now at the beautiful Timara Lodge, near Blenheim in the midst of the Marlborough wine country. After breakfast we went straight to the Cloudy Bay winery, since this is one of our most favourite New Zealand wines. (we tasted every wine they offered and W an J made notes, because they deliver to the U.K.) The next winery was Herzog, where we had an alfresco lunch, and tasted some more wine... The last one was Hunter's, John and Adrianne had had one of their red wines in Londen. We bought some bottles and we have to figure out when to drink them or whether we are taking them with us, either to Australia or to the U.K. (this is about the biggest our problems get to be..) All in all we can honestly say that this has been a very relaxing & healthy holiday so far.
Tonight our chef Louie will cook us, again, a dinner to remember...
